Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 June 2026
RALLY (“we”, “us”) helps people find and join local fitness activities. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written for our India-first launch and follows the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, handle, city, and an optional bio and photo.
- Activity data — events you join or save, community pins you host in the mobile app, organizers you follow, and reviews you write.
- Location — an approximate location you choose or allow, used only to show what is happening near you. We do not track your background location.
- Device data — basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the service.
How we use it
We use your data to show relevant nearby events, let you join activities and message-free coordinate meetups, maintain your profile, send the notifications you opt into, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal data.
What others can see
Your name, handle, city, photo, and public activity (including event attendance and mobile-app community pins you host) may be visible to other members so they can decide whether to meet you. You control your bio and photo, and you can delete your account at any time.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and notification preferences in the app.
- Withdraw location access in your browser or device settings.
- Delete your account, which removes your profile and personal records.
- Request a copy of your data or raise a grievance by contacting us.
Retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as your account is active or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We protect data in transit and at rest and limit access to those who need it.
